Joshie is here!!!!!
Team Thompson brought Baby B into the world on Tuesday night! CONGRATULATIONS, THOMPSON AND GUBE FAMILY!!!!!!!! As it turns out, it is a BOY!!! (Boy was I wrong!) Mom & Baby are doing great!
Kate and Noah are so excited about Joshie! Go to this link for one of the funniest things you will see in your life: http://www.elfyourself.com/?id=9623206399
Comments:Kelsey: The elf thing is the CUTEST & FUNNIEST thing ever!!! Kate is such a cutie.Sue: Mrs. Frodo says you're welcome! It's even funnier if you let it finish and then Kate comes back out and stand arounds and fidgets and glares at you to do something. Very Amusing!Add a comment:

Pulling herself UP!
Today Grama Vicki and Auntie Emma came over to help me out with the house and with Kate. They were SUCH a blessing, because Donnie actually had to work again today - poor guy!!! They helped me do "house stuff" that is just hard to do with Kate...catch up on laundry, take out the trash, vacuum, etc. It was really nice to spend the day together too! I think Kate is a bit attached to Grama V, she kept crawling up into her lap and putting her head on Grama's shoulder. Aww, too sweet! The event of the day occurred after Daddy got home though. We were playing on the floor and had a bunch of Kate's toys in a laundry basket. Low and behold, Kate crawled over, grabbed the edge, and pulled herself up to standing! Afer that she proceeded to lean over the side of the basket and fish around for toys. Oh boy, are we in trouble!!! Wish us luck in the Banister house...just when we were getting used to crawling - uhoh!!!!!!!!!!Comments:Amanda, Casey & Jack: Oh Boy! I hope you are ready!!! How exciting though!Add a comment:

Waiting for Daddy!
Kate and I sure do miss Daddy! He has been working so much lately in the aftermath of the fires, he pretty much gets home after we're in bed and goes to work before either of us wake up! Because of this, we really only see him on Sundays...and BOY do we look forward to Sundays! Last Sunday, Daddy installed a big GATE in our living room to keep Kate in a cage, now that she is actively everywhere. Her new tricks this week are that she can pull herself up...she is working on getting herself into a standing position, I fear! And now, she will sit if you put her in a sitting position. However - she is still a bit wobbly and won't sit for long before she turns herself onto her tummy and starts crawling again. I was looking at her newborn pictures which weren't that long ago really, and reflecting on how much she has grown and how FAST time as gone by. It makes me sad that the baby-baby is going, going gone! But she really is getting more interesting every day!!!Comments:Add a comment:

Time for childproofing!
I knew I was in for it when Kate started getting up on her hands and knees last week and wobbling back and forth! A few nights ago she started crawling! It takes her a LONG time to get from place to place, but when she sees something she wants, she GOES for it now until she gets it! It's remarkable how fast she is growing. She is having a hard time learning how to sit up by herself, because all she wants to do is slide around on her tummy. Donnie has been working so much due to the fires lately, so I had to make a trip to the store for babyproofing gates, outlet covers, etc today and I am absolutely overwhelmed. I am now in the process of contacting a few childproofing companies to come over to the house and assess what we need for her to be safe. I am absolutely unprepared for this! Hopefully we will be totally childproofed by the end of the week - this house seems like a potential landmine now!!!Comments:Papa Bat: Papa Bat says give her a bat and ball, and turn her loose.Tina: Your little go-getter!!! I can't believe she's crawling already. Amazing!Add a comment:
