Johnathan Kyle - what does his name mean?

Well not only are we naming our precious son after our fathers - John and Kyle (thus Johnathan with an "h")...we are delighted to share with you the meaning of his name!

Johnathan: Jehovah has given. In the bible Jonathan son of King Saul was noted for manliness; generosity and unselfishness. He saved David's life when Saul would have killed him.

Kyle: A place-name referring to the narrows; a wood or a church.

Today was our 5 month doctor checkup! Can you believe we are five months along already? Wow! (5 months down, 5 months to go!)

We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time, it was pretty remarkable - 151 beats per minute, the doctor said! He listened to it for a while and told us it sounds healthy and strong! Phew! Also, we got the results back from recent blood tests and Johnathan tested negative for downs syndrome and some other birth defects. We are still waiting for the results from the spina bifida test, but we are thinking positive!

Thanks to all of our friends and family that keep up with our journal and updates! It is truly a miracle to feel (and see!) this little angel grow every day!!!

Tuesday 11/21 is our next Doctor's Appointment - we can not wait to hear Johnathan's little heartbeat for the very first time! =) What is Mommy-to-be scared about? THE SCALE!!!! Wish us luck!!!!!!

Today we found out that little Baby B is a bouncing baby boy! It is with great JOY that we introduce you to Johnathan Kyle!!!

This was the first day I actually felt the baby!!!

I was getting a prenatal massage and was SO RELAXED...the music was soft and lovely, I was still and quiet, it was awesome! Towards the end of the massage, the massage therapist was working on my neck and head and I felt a few pops in my stomach - it felt like popping popcorn! I wondered if that was our baby, but wasn't sure! Then the massage therapist moved down to my stomach to put yummy lotion on it, and she stopped her hands right over where I felt the popcorn pops! She said, "I JUST FELT THE BABY!" She went on to tell me that she is really used to it because it is so quiet and the Mommy-to-be is so relaxed, she always feels the baby move when she gets to the end!

Since then I have felt those little pops in different places a few times! It's so exciting, little baby JB is on the move!!!
